We will never forget the events of September 11th, 2011. It is important that we take a moment to remember the lives that were taken and the heroes who sacrificed themselves on that day.

Though 18 years have taken place, the memories from that day are etched into our minds forever. We will always remember where we were and what we were doing on that day.

It is not however, the days specifically that we remember, but the events themselves are what we remember.

Over the course of the week, I have been doing a lot of talking about boundaries and drawing a line in the sand. Now today, as we focus on the word REMEMBER, I take this opportunity today, to remind you all that it is important that we remember to stand our ground.

We need to remember to stand firm in who we are and what we believe in.

We need to remember to be intentional about our lives, decisions, and relationships.

We need to remember to step up, take action, and take care of one another.

“Learn to stand for something or you will fall for anything.”

This week, we remember those who gave their lives to during that terrible event. Honor them, by doing something good. Step up and show them that they gave their lives for a community that loves and can care for one another. Begin spreading the message of kindness through action.

Be intentional. Take action. Change lives.

Stay awesome
