How do you deal with the obstacles in your life? An obstacle is defined as a thing that blocks one’s way or prevents or hinders progress.

Obstacles come in different forms including:

  • Injury
  • Abuse
  • Illness
  • Fear
  • Disability
  • Separation
  • Financial Hardships

Obstacles are to be expected in life, at work and on the road to achieving your goals.

Today, I want you to ask yourself if you still want it? If the answer is yes, create the mindset today that you will persevere. Decide today that you are going to continue making forward progress towards achieving your goals, regardless of any obstacles that get in your way.

Learn to expect that there will be obstacles along the way. When obstacles occur, remove the negative thoughts. Instead of feeling sorry for yourself, find the learning opportunities. Find opportunities for self-improvement and personal growth.

Learn to smile at your obstacles and see how your mindset changes.

Michael Jordan said, “I play to win, whether during practice or a real game and I will not let anything get in the way of me and my competitive enthusiasm to win.”
