Today I have a special word that is in honor of my good buddy, Whitey.  The word of the day is frustration. Here’s the quote on frustration, “You can’t change someone who doesn’t see an issue in their actions.”

I know it all too well. There are people who just carry on in this broken, non-fixable way.  It makes me so frustrated. We are going through it with a good friend right now. I am so frustrated that I can’t help things to change.

Someone like Whitey, who was trying to download Instagram on a mobile device.  He was beyond frustrated, but I walked him through.

Yesterday was a day of barbecues and family picnics.  How many family members get you frustrated? It’s got to be their way or the highway.  It is frustrating.

Remember, “To conquer frustration one must remain intensely focused on the outcome, not the obstacle.”  So if there is something that you want to get done and there are little frustrating things along the way, you have to look past them to get to the bigger prize.

You must have long term goals to keep you from being frustrated by short term failures.  We all have frustrations: health frustrations, financial frustrations, relationship frustrations.  We have them all the time. So how do you deal with it? What do you do?

Here’s a great quote that can help, “When life gets hectic and you feel overwhelmed, take a moment to focus on the people and things you are most grateful for.  When you have an attitude of gratitude, frustrating troubles will fall by the wayside.”

So let’s practice that. Let’s be grateful, let’s have a great attitude, and hopefully, the frustration comes down.
