If

If

Today’s word is a big word.  The biggest word in the dictionary, but it’s only two letters.  The word of the day is If.

This word is so small, but yet it is so big.  Here’s the quote, “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”  For example, you need your cup to be overflowing or half full, but not half empty. You’ve got to get rid of the half-empty mentality.

Other awesome quotes with if in them include:

“If you don’t go after what you want, you’ll never have it.”

“If you don’t ask, the answer is always no.”

“If you don’t step forward, you are always in the same place.”

Don’t you get tired of standing in the same place?

The what-ifs and the should-haves will keep you from moving forward.  Do you know how many times I hear in a conversation, should have, would have, could have, or if only this had happened?

Let’s talk about the four buses.  Starting with the career bus, if my boss respected me he would pay me more.  If my boss gave me more responsibility I could grow. We are always blaming it on someone else.

Look at yourself.  Are you happy? Are you doing your work?  Are you being compensated fairly? If not, move on, but stop blaming it on everyone else.  Look at yourself.

Financially, we oftentimes make investments and some work, some don’t.  This results in if that stock would have gone higher I could have XYZ. You fill in the blank.

Now, watch today’s video to hear more about how ifs play a part on all the buses in our lives.
