Today we are going to talk about stuff.  That little word is really big.

I like this quote by Jerry Seinfeld about stuff, “I do probably 60 concerts a year in the states and I go out to clubs during the week.  I’m doing new stuff all the time.”

I don’t know how you feel about Seinfeld, but I love that guy.  He is awesome and he’s out all the time, not just working, but learning and taking on new stuff.

We also think of possessions when we think about stuff.  We hold on to so many of them for too long. We accumulate stuff.  We have junk in closets, crap everywhere. We have clutter. We eat too much stuff.  Many of us have expired food in the cabinets.

No matter what it is, you’ve got to get rid of the stuff you really don’t need.  I have friends in the storage business. Those people are making money by storing our stuff that we never even go back to claim.

What about the junk in between our ears?  How do we get rid of that negative stuff? Think of it as head trash.  Flush the stuff! Here’s a good quote:

“You can’t go into something good until you let go of all the bad stuff because you’ll find yourself steadily bringing up the old in a new situation.”

This is so true.  People love to keep focusing on the negative.  You must focus on the things that matter and focus on the things that make you happy!
