Today we are going to talk about fear. You and I both know that so many people live in fear and that fear gets in the way of helping them to obtain their dreams and their goals. Here’s what I have to say about facing your fears.
An important step in managing anxiety and facing situations is called exposure.
Exposure involves gradually and repeatedly going into situations until you feel less anxious about them. Therefore not allowing the fear of failure stop you.
A couple of encouraging quotes that come to mind in regards to facing your fears are:
Michael Jordan, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” and another is from Nelson Mandela, “The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid but he who conquers.”
In today’s video, I share a story about a friend of mine who didn’t allow fear to stop him or get in the way of his dreams.
